Michelle Obama and MyPlate

For Westchester magazine’s September issue, (thanks Aiko), I created this illustration for an opinion piece about “MyPlate”, the new food guide unveiled by the USDA and Michelle Obama. The article discusses how the streamlined graphic, which replaces the old food pyramid, is more confusing than educational. I can see where they’re coming from, I mean, where does a cheeseburger fit in? Chili fries? Hmm…
