Mike has been a freelance illustrator and party caricaturist for over 20 years, since graduating from San Francisco’s Academy of Art University. His artistic focus is editorial, storytelling images with a humorous twist. Over the years, Mike has amassed a client list that includes Rolling Stone, Major League Baseball, Entertainment Weekly, Sports Illustrated, AT&T, Scholastic, TV Guide, Boys’ Life, and McGraw-Hill. His work has been included in American Illustration 27, 29, and 31, as well as the 3×3 Illustration Annual no. 12. Mike resides in Sacramento, California with his wife Shirley, a graphic designer and fine artist, and their temperamental cat Mocha.
