To celebrate Mother’s Day, art director Aiko Masazumi from Westchester Magazine called on me for this full page illustration to accompany a feature about famous Westchester mothers for their May issue. Yoko Ono, Joan Crawford, and Eve Ensler are depicted in all their maternal glory.
An alternate concept I came up with was a mother’s day bouquet that included Judy Garland. The baby concept won out.
